Let’s Look at a Hybrid Graph

A client asked, ” Would putting natural gut in the cross string instead of the main string create a softer string bed?”

That question is the precursor to the graph below, so I will let the video tell the story.

This graph does not reflect the stiffness of polyester string.   So, in any format, a natural gut may help soften the string bed if polyester is used.

Head Gravity Team 2025

It is rare to have a 104 square inch racquet excite so many! The Head Gravity Team is doing just that! Maybe because it takes on the myth that racquets over 100 square inches are for “sissies,” or one must be old to play with a racquet that size, etc., etc.

Typically, a review like this focuses on performance metrics. However, we can not continue without acknowledging this racquet’s incredible look.

First, the racquet flex of RDC 58 is nearly perfect for those wanting to be “more in control” rather than just seeking power. So, if you want to enhance your performance but don’t want to go to a smaller head size, this may be the racquet for you.

Remember that this racquet represents a great starting point, and customization can change some properties as your game improves!

Please take the Head Gravity Team 2025 out for a test and then tell me what you think of a 104-square-inch racquet!

Head Gravity MP L 2025

Wow!  The new Head Gravity 2025 series keeps getting better!  This is the new Head Gravity MP L and it hits the mark on many properties!

Head Gravity MP L 2025

The “MP” indicates it has a mid-plus head size of 100 square inches. The “L” means it is lighter than the “MP,” but everything else is the same head size and string pattern.

Why do we believe this is such a good racquet?

  • Easy to customize as the player progresses
  • Very good 16×20 string pattern spacing that creates a good, effective stiffness
  • Terrific RDC flex of 59, making it perfect for precision and comfort
  • The modified “cap” grommet system protects the string and racquet from “ball to foot” pick-up.  This is important!

The table shows all of the properties, but it does not include the very important graphics!

If you are an aspiring junior or adult player, this is a racquet you must try.

The entire Gravity 2025 series will ship in January. You can pre-order now.
