Head Graphene 360+ Prestige Mid
The Head Prestige Mid is, in my view, the quintessential Prestige! This Prestige is the tennis racquet you would buy even if you don’t play tennis! It would sit right next to your Porsche 550 that you don’t drive much, but both make you feel really good!
The latest edition of the Prestige Mid is the Graphene 360+ Prestige Mid, and it carries on the iconic tradition of all previous models and looks better doing it, in my opinion.
In left image, you can see the overall color scheme of all of the new Prestige series, but you can’t see the detail of the “cap system” that is different than the other three (3) Prestige models.
The lower image shows the transition location. But why?

Mid Cap System Transition
I think it is just a matter of weight. The cap system on the Mid stops halfway down the head instead of all around as on other models.
This slight reduction in weight allows for more customization options and this is a very customizable racquet.
So, if you are interested in an “iconic” racquet to place next to your 550, this is the one!
What could be better than arriving at the courts in your 550 and pull out your Prestige Mid racquet!

Can You Buy Prestige?
Of course, you can! In fact, you can buy four (4) models of Prestige!
You know we are talking about the Head Prestige racquet that has, for many years, been the pinnacle of the Head tennis racquet line-up. Some of the best players in the world got there with the Prestige racquet.

The “Bad Boys” of the Head Racquet lineup!
The “Pro” weighs in at 330 grams (11.6 oz) with a swing weight of 330 with a 16×19 pattern.
The “MP” weighs in at 340 grams (11.9 oz) with a swing weight of 319 with an 18×20 pattern
The “RevPro” weighs in at 310 grams (10.9 oz) with a swing weight of 325, and, get this, a 93 sq. in. head size with a 16×19 pattern! This is a dream!
The “S” weighs in at 326 grams (11.5 oz) with a swing weight of 320 with a 16×19 pattern.
The entire Prestige series, except the Rev Pro which is slightly different, uses the awesome “cap system” which is a bumper guard and string protection system the captures the entire head of the racquet lending stability as well as protection. When the strings are installed the cap system sort of collapses around the string keeping them safe from ground smacking!

Head Prestige Pro
So, none of these racquets is “wimpy” but none of them are out of the ballpark for good recreational players or those that want to become better players.
I think the Prestige Series has been overshadowed by the “Speed” and very popular “Radical” series from Head but there continues to be valid spot on the racquet roster for the Prestige racquets.
You can try one to determine of you can “buy prestige” for yourself! Demo’s of each model are in the shop so call or stop by to check them out.
