Let’s be Serious about String!

If you know anything about Racquet Quest, you know we are very serious about tennis racquet string!

We believe that you, the player, are equally as serious.

For years, we have offered strings that may not have had the exposure they deserve. That may be for any number of reasons but the primary reason is most stringers do not want to mess with anything that is different.

This is where Racquet Quest excels.

We seek out strings that are worthy of our promotion to our clients based on the player’s needs… not ours.

For years Racquet Quest has offered MonoGut ZX and ZX Pro, a monofilament alternative to polyester string. It is our “GoTo” string for several performance reasons, including comfort, stability, durability, and power.

The players that do not need the power of the PEEK material of MonoGut ZX and ZX Pro can now experience the playability and durability of IsoSpeed Professional, Energetic, Speed Control, and Speed Control + Arm.

IsoSpeed Control + Arm Protection 1.30

IsoSpeed uses polypropylene fibers to construct multifilament strings that mimic natural gut in terms of construction and power potential. These extraordinary strings fill a much-needed void in high-performance tennis.

Racquet Quest understands this string material and construction. Our testing confirms the benefit of a durable multifilament string for players who are moving away from a polyester string. You can too!

IsoSpeed started producing tennis strings in 1990. Right after they entered the market, the entire Austrian tennis elite began using ISOSPEED products for competitive sports. The trend toward high-tech products has continued to this day, and ISOSPEED now offers a complete line of strings that is known around the world as unique.

The IsoSpeed line consists of five (5) unique strings, most of which are available in 17 or 16-gauge (1.20mm – 1.30mm)

Need Direction?

A client just sent me the following statement and I think it has reason to be distributed amongst tennis players searching for “direction” when it comes to string and their game!

“Hah. Trying out these different strings has been very interesting. Over the past week or so, trying the different strings has given me some insight into what my game should be. I think usually people do it in reverse. They try to find the string that tailors to their game. By experimenting with the strings, I realize the direction my game should be going.”

“I’ve been coming to realize that my game is better with control and feel rather than power.  Experimenting with different strings have helped me recognize this.”

Do you think this applies to you?
