Origine Racquet Update

I have been hitting with the new “flax” fiber Origine Racquet for a few weeks and have come to enjoy the flexibility (RDC 58) and resultant comfort of this racquet. The flax fiber is of course blended with graphite fiber so this is, essentially, a graphite composite racquet.

I needed to increase the swing weight from 309 to 324 to regain the power that could be sacrificed by the flexibility. I have plenty of power now and have not sacrificed anything, so far. The Origine racquet is over 27.5 long and that in itself creates a powerful lever, however, I still think it needs a swing weight greater than the 309 of the racquet I received.

Hit with this racquet if you have the opportunity.
