Starting Procedure
This is a short video to examine a starting procedure that does not require a starting clamp on the outside of the racquet.
I do not use this type of clamping system so please watch the video and let me know if this works for you!

I also use this method and I have found on “soft” strings you can use a folded business card in the jaws of the clamp to minimize any clamping marks on the first string. (Hope this helps!)
I always do it this way and it is great to see it being done by a legend in stringing world.
